Mother Nature

Here I am again. Maybe I should put all this stuff in the same post. Anyway, I made this doll out of a blank bendi style cloth doll, attatched a polymer clay face, and painted her body brown. Then I wrapped her arms in copper wire, hot glued some ivy leaves and tiny white flowers all over her, and applied a ring of beading to frame her perdy face. I wrapped her legs around a bamboo skewer to make a tree trunk, and put her onto a wooden base, which I covered in a mix of pretty rocks. I thought she was pretty nice. Her new owner (my mother back in Michigan) sure likes her.
I called her mother nature.

Next, although a little rough, I made this polymer clay angel. I used a push mold to get me started, but went crazy from there. I made her dress, painted her face, painted her finger and toenails gold, and put a pretty little halo on over her brown hair. The glaze I used turned out a lot more shiny than I liked, but oh well. She too went to my mother in Michigan.
